    Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you have recommendations for a subwoofer amplifier that will do 4 ohms (either bridged, or be it a monoblock). I have an Adire Audio Shiva (dual 8 ohm coils) and would like to give it 200 to 300 watts RMS.

I would like it to be class A/B, and black in color.

Anyone have anything used that they are wanting to part with?

I was looking at Mackie and Crown, etc. they are all too powerfull. Bryston had some nice stuff but very pricey. I don't care if it's a rack mount type .. I'll just try removing the rack mounts on it if that's the case.

    Thanks for the help.

Any pro audio gear will do you just fine, so will just about any amp that can put out the wattage and ohm load that you are looking for. I would not worry about a class A/B for low frequencies. A lot of pro gear does not allow for removal of the ears, unless you shave them off. [IMG]

FWIW, I use all pro-audio amps for all of my speakers.

I do have some Carver PM series that I am getting rid of that would fit the bill. You can PM me if you want more info on them.
