Need speaker recommendation for friend (1 Viewer)

Friend is looking to start off with a decent pair of front speakers for HT and 2 channel music.

Price range is about 500-600 bucks.

My 2 contenders:

JBL ND310
Klipsch RF3-II

I am also recommending he pickup a Pionner 811S receiver... He is trying to rebuild his home theater with a modest budget

Any other speaker recommendations? Any better receiver for 300 bucks?

Why not get the S series? For that amount of money you can bring home a couple of S312's which would sound very nice......What center does he have? Important to match the three in the front.

Try a pair of Axiom Mt22's, Paradigm Studio 20's, or Swan Diva 2.1's. Denon 1802 is a good option for a touch over $300.

JandR.com usually has great prices w/free shipping on JBL. Their stock fluctuates a lot though due to the great offer.
I would also recommend the S312 if your friend has the space.
