I currently have a Denon 1802 receiver and I am looking for speakers to complete my HT setup. The problem is that 80% of the time I listen to 2-channel stereo music. I am currently considering JBL N28 mains, n-center, N26 rears and a PB-10 sub. I would like to keep the total cost around $500 if possible. I'm wondering if this setup would be any good for music listening or if I would be better with floorstanding mains similar to the JBL N38II and then the N26 rears? Would using the floorstanding towers reduce the performance of the system while watching movies? Also, will the use of the towers provide a noticable benefit over the bookshelf speakers? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

I have basically the same question. Would love to hear some responses. What about the Energy Take 5.2 setup with a sub? Any ideas on that? Thanks a lot!!
