    This is pretty remedial but I can't figure it out and it's the first time I've tried to do this. Here's the setup:
    Cable Box RCA Outs -> 2800 Cable RCAs In
    Tosh VCR LineOut -> 2800 VCR1 In
    2800 VCR1 Out -> Tosh VCR LineIn
    I'm trying to record off cable to my Tosh VCR so I select Source as TV/DBS and I get my cable on my TV. I then select REC OUT and knob over to VCR1. I hit record on the tosh and nothing records. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?
