I used to draw when I was a wee little lad. I unfortunately did not finish a few. To make a long story short, I'm drawing again. But what I would like to have is the comic that the pictures came from but I do not know how to find them. I have some pictures and was hoping the GREAT minds at HomeThaterForum could assist with finding what comic, vol, issue, etc it comes from.

Thanks guys/gals!!! Here are the links:

Thanks again,

Edited to reflect the GREAT, GREAT minds at The Home Theater Forum!!! Sorry about that......... :b

great minds at dvdtalk.
heh.

anyway they could be from any dozens of books.
the punisher pic looks like it could be from a early issue of the first series. maybe mike zeck.
that supes pic looks like a fan drawn but i guess it could be a crop from a actual issue.

maybe some more info would help.
what are these things
were did you get them
and what are your plans for them.

The "plus 3 more all new features" clued me to the fact that the Wolverine cover was probably from the old "Marvel Comics Presents" series. It was. Issue 44.

These pictures are all clips from comic books as far as I know. They would have all been from the years of around 1990 to 1991 since that was my Senior year in high school. As for the 3rd question: As you can see from the Superman drawing that what I have been doing is just blowing up the picture with certain types of pencils and colored pencils. I have a few other drawings I can post to show you the other works I have around the house if you guys want.

You guys are great. According to another forum, the Punisher pic may be from:
http://comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece...&GCat=0&UCat=0

It is the graphic novel "The Return To Big Nothing". The problem is, I don't remember owning this graphic novel and I probably didn't even know what a graphic novel was at the time. But the picture that I have been using is a photocopy so I must have either had the book or a frined did or maybe the library did(assuming the novel is not too graphic).

If I can get some type of confirmation of that Punisher pic I'll pick the graphic novel up.

I know that the Superman pciture is from a comic book but do not know which one. Thanks again for all you help!!!

:)

chet you do know this is hometheaterforum and not dvdtalk as you said in the first post :D

return to big nothing was a graphic novel released in both soft and hardback around '89.

it may have been copiled from an ongoing story in a punisher comic book.
zeck was the first artist on the first punisher limited series comic.
http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bi...2344&snumber=1

i dont remember if big nothing is a reprint of that.
zeck series was the first appearance of the punisher in his own book after many guests in spider-man books.

btw this is the 20th anny of that zeck litd series.

the funny thing about that series is that it was only to be 4 issues.
it sold so well that for the last issue the top said it was issue 5 in a 5 issue series.

the first 4 issues said #1 of 4.
#2 of 4, etc.

Yea, I just realized the DVDtalk thing........talk about being a knucklehead. I didn't even notice after I read Greg's post. :b :D

I have confirmation though that the Punisher pic is from "The Return To Big Nothing" so I'll be picking it up tonight.

Now just for Supes........And if any of you have any cool looking comic pics you can think of, maybe Green Lantern, I've always thought he was a cool cat. I'm also thinking of something from Frank Herbert's Dune as it is one of my favorite universes. Maybe a drawing of Muad'Dib.

Anyway I digress......thanks again guys/gals.
