Okay I just got some aura bass shakers (4 ohms each), and Iam using a reciever with only 8 ohms to power them. I have been told I can bi wire them to make this work properly, and iam wondering how I bi wire them.

Okay I think I have everything wired properly but there is no shaking going on so iam going to run down how I have everything wired and stuff and hopefully someone can help me out. First I took an RCA cable from my yamaha rxv-730 from its 6 channel sub out to my rca reciever tape input. I then wired the shakers in series but nothing. Any advice?

I am no expert but i'll just tell you how I did it. I didn't bi wire them, I wired them in series according to the instructions for the shakers. I have an old HTIB receiver so, I wired two to two separate channels, the front left, the front right, I split the LFE signal, one goes to the sub the other to the old reciever where it is split AGAIN into both the analog audio Left and Audio right DVD inputs (I don't think it matters which inputs) Then I put the input on the receiver to DVD, set the sound function to 2 ch stereo, and it seems to work just fine,

At first I could only get one set of them to work then I realized that I needed to send signal into both the left and right.

Ya sorry mine are also wired in series. So just wondering how did you get the signal to the old reciever that is what iam confused about. Right now I have a Y splitter on my sub out on my good reciever. I then have one half going to my sub, and a RCA cable going to tape in. Does that sound like it should work?
