Need some HD TV help? (1 Viewer)

I'm in the beginning phase of building a home theater and I'm starting with the TV. I have been doing some reading in the forums and man there is a bunch of info here. I think I have got an input overload. I need to know what you guys think about a Sony TV I was fixing to buy?

My Home theater room isn't very large and I will probably be sitting 7 to 8 ft back from the screen.

The Sony sets are great sets....7 to 8 ft while being a little close for a set that size should not present any problems..I have a 46 inch set and sit 6.5 ft away with no problems..
One of the many advantages of an HD set besides the superior picture quality is lack of scan lines, so sitting close to a set that size will be fine..
