I'm thinking of setting a company. I've got the mechanics already but I actually have no idea how to start, i.e., getting a name, copyright or trademarks, etc. Do I go to a CPA or a lawyer or what?
I trust someone out there knows something so....

If you want to be a corporation, you will need a lawyer. An accountant is helpful, but you can do the books yourself. For peace of mind, it might be better not to though. And it would be best to have one look them over for you at the end of the year. On a day to day basis, you shouldn't need either though.
