I have two choices: Sony Trinitron Wega 27' Flat screen or a Sony Trinitron 32" NON-flat screen. Do you recommend size or picture quality?

I'm a quality-first advocate. The WEGA, though smaller, is the better of the two sets, and I would spend my money on it.

Ditto Jack Briggs. [IMG] Picture quality, no contest.
Get the 27" flat screen WEGA. (My opinion, of course.)
The increased clarity you get with such a set will more than make up for the slightly smaller picture area.
Of course, I have the best of both worlds: a 32" WEGA! [IMG]

Enjoy the set, Roger. And remember to adjust your DVD player to output at 16:9. When you see those images while the WEGA is in 16:9 mode, you will be very, very happy.
