im considering to buy the paradigm pw2200 or the servo15, but just yesterday, i saw the b&w 800asw sold for about the same as the pw2200. i was not able to demo this unit because of lack of time but i will sometime next week. i just want to get more opinion from you on how does it compare w/ pw2200?
1. music?
2. ht - how loud can it go at lower frequencies (25hz and
below)?
there are many information on pw2200 but not so for the 800asw. hope you can help.
thank you.

Ariel,
I have heard the Paradigm PW-2200 in person & boy does that sub go LOUD in the 22 to 40Hz range it has awesome home theater rumble plus the paradigm is canadian built so it's worth taking a look at. :)

thank you. i also heard the pw2200 and it is really an awesome sub. i just got interested in B&w 800asw because it's listed price in the audioreview is even more expensive than the servo15. i just cant find more reviews or information about this sub. From the specs sheet, the figures are even better than the pw2200 (i just don't know the actual). Here in the Philippines, the price of paradigm speakers really increased by a big amount that the 800asw sells at same price as the pw2200.

Here's some of the Nousaine test data:
Paradigm PW2200 - 108 / 20hz~84 / 25hz ~104dB (112.8dB peak)
Paradigm Servo15 - 107.3 / 27hz
B&W asw800 -105.1dB / 26hz - no SPL given
Subjectively I would say the Paradigm's are capable of more SPL with the Servo-15 having the most bass < 25Hz and the PW2200 having the most > 25Hz. Musically, I prefer the Servo-15 to the other two subs (but it's also more $$$).
