I was re-wiring my set today and broke a pin on my s-video cable. So before I rush out and buy a new one I thought I'd ask for suggestions. I have a JVC 32" and I'm using my Yamaha a-1 to do all the swtiching. I need about a 20' run. Is it worth it to buy a $100 dollar cable?

    Thanks!

If you broke a pin on a Monster brand cable they will replace it free of charge.

If you live in a rural area where there is little in the way of EFI's then you may not need all the insulation in an expensive cable.

Thanks for all the advice, and actaully, an AR cable is already on its way from partsexpress. Though I'd like to follow up on the Monster warranty thing. When I read their warranty it lookrd to me that me breaking a pin would not be covered. Anybody have an expereience with a situation like this?

    Thanks!
