I can't seem to find any good games for the three consoles. Anything with lots of action out there?

beat metriod, mario sunshine, monkeyball
beat pancer dragoon, THPS4 and many others, bought Turok for 20 bucks...waste of 20 bucks.
beat Ratchet and Klank for PS2

Anything out there for action? Good FPS or platformer?

john, i play on a couple servers that alot of 20+ age people play on , a couple really good players. newbs come, and if they accuse somebody of cheating they get automatically kicked. ie. saying "squishy panda hacks" server says. " accusation of cheating, rule 2, newb is kicked"
ill post some ip numbers of servers when i get home. i am a knife and pump shotty masta, and hate awpers. my problem is im the guy that always leads the charge, and run into 5 of the other team and as i die see the radar that my team is still buying gear at spawn.

ghost recon is amazing and has a great replay value (at least for me,, the ai is good (say your hiding behind a car, they will send half their force around a building to flank you) , the sound is great nothing like sneaking through a swamp hearing water fall around you then lobbing a couple grenades at a patrol.

John,

I'll trade you one of these for Panzer, I'm in the same situation (need to cycel some games ;)

* Ghost Recon (Xbox)
* Frequency (PS2)
* The Thing (Xbox)
* GTA3 (PS2)

Ghost Recon is a lot of fun, maybe the best shooter with a friend split screen or online via XBL. The Thing is good too. Not earth-shattering, but any fan of the John Carpenter movie should find it enjoyable. I could do a 2-1 on the Frequency and GTA3 (old titles.)

If you have interest in any of these, let me know...

Thanks Aaron. I'm trying to avoid a format war.

Concentrating on the titles first then picking a platform can be tough sometimes. :)

Thanks for the suggestions Brian...

Of the games you've listed I've beaten them. As for vice city - hated it with a passion. Gee I spent 2 hours roaming around doing nothing...real fun. Worst game evar.

While I don't know about worst ever (I imagine that was used for dramatic effect), it's good to know that I'm not the only one that finds little-to-no value in the GTA games.

If you can find it, the Zelda Preorder disc is available in stores(got mine at Compusa for 10 bucks without having to preorder) and if you keep your reciept you get 10 bucks off a purchase of the Wind Waker. Even though it looks like an N64 game, if you've never played Ocarina of Time I think you're missing out. I started it today for the first time and am enjoying it immensely.

Eric: I'm suprised you find no value in the GTA games. There are lots of little subgames to wade around in, lots of missions to complete, and wide open gameplay.

Have you both played past the midpoint of the game (i.e. can you buy high-end properties)? There's a lot more to do once you have a couple of businesses purchased.

Be that as it may...

John: Have you played ALL the released games on that list?

Zelda hasn't come out yet, but you can get the pre-order disc (a GC version of Ocarina Of Time) at some retailers. I've heard good things about both the pre-order disc and the game itself. Worth a pickup if you're into adventure games.
