Hi,
I've been going around the local stores and try and demo this set. Unfortunately most of the sales guys are not very helpful and worse, don't even understand what is anamorphic DVDs.
If there are owners out there, can you pls tell me which stretch mode do you use for your anamorphically enhanced DVDs, 4:3 full screen DVDs and 4:3 cable programs. From the specs, it says there are 4 zoom modes + cinerama + autoformat.
There are only 3 models of 16:9 TVs in Singapore right now and this model looks the best bet.
Any info will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

especially our euro or asian HTFers since I didn't find any info on US websites. Is this set any good for US$1800?
