Need ideas on small height speakers. (1 Viewer)

Ok guys, I’m looking for some small (wife friendly) height speakers. They will be sitting atop an entertainment center. I’ve been looking at the Cambridge Minx Mini 12. My living room area is not large but was afraid they may not give the sound for a height speaker. I already have a sub and surround speakers. Price needs to stay around $200 for the pair and size is my limiting factor. Thanks!

What is the ceiling like? You might want up firing ones, like the ELAC ones. Inexpensive and almost invisible.

Unfortunately it is acoustic sprayed.

Since your ceiling is acoustically sprayed, you my want to look at speakers with an angled face, since you want them to fire downward to the seating area. These SVS ones would give you a good idea, but I know they're not the only ones that exist. https://www.svsound.com/pages/prime-elevation#

Yeah, if the ceiling has acoustic treatment, and in-ceiling (always the BEST solution) isn't an option, then something like the SVS Elevation are probably your best choice, as long as you mount them at the ceiling.

My ceiling is 15' high and vaulted - not good at all for up-firing. I don't even particularly like the concept of UP-firing so use Polk OWM-3 in my 7.2.4 config. They are adequate for object speakers and I have them mounted where the wall meets the ceiling, firing down.

They are sold in pairs and come in white or black. Some folks have complained that they are off-white, and not pure bright white.
