    Hey,
Tomorrow is the day I get my television, even though I still can't decide which one to get. It's between the Sony KV27FV17 or the Proton NT-2760. I'm leaning more toward the Sony due to it's 16:9 squeeze. The proton does have it's pros with it's deep rich colors. My question is , does the Sony 16:9 squeeze REALLY make a difference with Anamorphic DVD's. I will be useing BetterCables component cable.
    Thanks

The vertical compression will give you 33% more resolution than if the player downconverted...
It depends on how much better the sony displays the 33% improvement...
