Need Help With Quicktime Settings (1 Viewer)

After downloading a plug-in for Quicktime, it now attempts to play mpg files. Most of the time it is unable to play these files. How do I keep quicktime playing mov files and have Windows Media Player playing mpg's?

In Quicktime 5 Pro go to Edit; Preferences; Quicktime Preferences. Then select File Type Associations from the drop down menu and select the files you want or don't want Quicktime to use.
