need help with pioneer LD player! (1 Viewer)

hey!
I have a CLD 406 LD player. The unit has been great since I bought it a year ago. The unit now states an 'EO' message. does anyone know what this means?
the unit will not open, or close, and just sits there!
I need to watch my laserdiscs!!!

I think the E stands for "Error", try to find a knowledgable service place that has copies of the Pioneer service manuals- this should make it easy to find where the problem is.
