Need help with Pioneer DV-333. (1 Viewer)

I have a Pioneer DV-333 DVD Player and I have been noticing with some of the newer films out there such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and others that sometimes and exclamtion point is shown on the screen toward the right hand side of the screen. I am puzzled at why my player is doing this...and it is getting annoying. I thought I would see what you guys though of this and see if anyone has experienced the same thing. And if anyone knows how to turn whatever is generating that exclamation point off I would really appreciate that too. Thanks ahead for any input and God bless.

I just wanted to give an update here...I tried out some of my older dvd's and I still get the exclamation point on the right hand side on some parts of the movie. I would really like any input from anyone who knows about this or how to turn it off or anything.
