Need help with my SVS 20-39CS+ setting it up! (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I just received my SVS 20-39CS+ with the Samson 1000 watt amp. I have a Denon receiver (3801) and I would like to know from Denon owners what there settings are for the sub. Also I would like to know what Samson's settings you guys use for your system? I just need some direction because I have no idea.

Also I did not realize you need speaker wire hooked to the sub (then to the amp) for this model. What size speaker do you suggest or what you guys use?

Any help will be appreciated and thanks for your time.

I used to own the 20-39 CS with Samson 700 amp (bought the new 25-31 PCi, just returned it and will wait on the 25-31PC+), and also have the 3801...here's what I did.

SVS, and the Samson manual...recommend turning the Samson to full gain, then adjusting the sub out from the receiver to arrive at the correct calibration (using AVIA or Video Essentials). I ended up with Samson at full power, and the sub channel on the 3801 at -8 I think.
