Need help with ICO (1 Viewer)

Im stuck at the part just after the Crane level. You need to collapse a bridge onto the castle floor but I cannot get the bridge "fully" collapsed. I have it partially collapsed but I cannot figure out how to get the main support beam broken. Any help out there? thanks.

Go out towards the previous save point and pick up one of the bombs.
Then, light your torch with one of the candles on the collapsed chandelier and light the bomb. You will be all set!

That's what I get for not reading the directions. I didn't even know you could pick up bombs - or anything for that matter. Thanks Gabe!
