    hi,
I'm interested in buying either the RM-AV3000 or RM-AV2100, which are both from sony. I know that you can just use your fingers to use this remote, but can you also use a stylus pen?
    thanks

Babek, I do not have experience with that remote, but I would imagine you could. One place that would know is www.remotecentral.com Its everything you ever wanted to know about remote controls.

I can only give my opinion. I have used the RAV-AV2100
(I set up my friends for his HT) and I did not care for the
display or the ergonomics of the remote. I am used to using
a Pronto Pro and I love color displays and custom graphics
plus the ergonomics of the Pronto's are better than the RAV's

But the price is also much higher too.

If you can, I would check the stores in your area see if
anyone carries the RAV and try it out, see if you like the
way it feels in your hands.

You can use a stylus on any of the touchscreens the problem
is finding a place to keep the stylus.

    Hi Babek,

I have the RM-AV3000 & love it! I also use a stylus pen with it, keeps the finger prints off the screen.

To keep up with the stylus this method is crude but it works. I took velcro and cut it to size and place 2 little strips on the right side of the remote then the stylus. That's all to it, when the stylus is not in use i attach it to side of the remote. I found a stylus that color matches the RM-AV3000 perfectly for cosmo reasons.
