The menu comes up,but the actual game won't load. The loading screen doesn't come up and the game just crashes back to windows.
In the game menu i go to 'graphics' and under the screen resolution it's blank, nothing at all.
I have a 566 mhz,32 mb ram,8 mb video.my slow computer is probably the problem, but the computer in the other room is almost exactly the same and it(the game) works perfectly fine.
So,does my computer just need upgrading,or is it something else?
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.[IMG]

Its probably the graphics card. What do you have?

Also, make sure you download the latest drivers (though with an 8Mb card they are probably pretty old anyway), and go the the EA site for any patches there might be. This does sound like the usual graphics card problems games hit.

566MHz would probably be a fine machine, actually, if you dropped more memory and a decent graphics card on it.

    It's an onboard video,an intel 810 chipset.

I'll check for updated drivers and patches, although,i doubt if it has any.

Aah, the Intel 810. I do suspect its time for a new video card then; even the cheapest of cheap modern cards should leave that standing; try for a cheap GeForce2MX or so.

Can't help you there; sorry. It doesn't say where you're based, but I'd guess at 'outside the UK' so I wouldn't know anywhere local to you.
If due to some freak coincidence you ARE based in the UK though, www.scan.co.uk have always done well for me.
