Need Help!!! (sub for $350-400) (1 Viewer)

I have/am getting:
sony stra1000es 7.1 receiver
2 sapphire st2 towers
2 sapphire sur
1 sapphire center

i am/was looking at a velodyne dls 3500, but it's freq response is less than my 2 sapphire towers(34hrz vs 30 hrz in towers), any thoughts?

i need a sub for a 50/50(mov/mus) system that preferably gets low but is also musical, for $350ish(too bad that puts svs out of the picture)

The STF-2 is a good choice, might want to look at the VTF-2 as well.
