Hi,

Need help setting my pc up for HTPC.

I own a intel P3 733 mhz, 512 megs of pc-133 ram, a creative blaster annihilator 2 graphics card- which is a nividia geforce 2 GTS with 32 megs of ram.

I know I need a dvd-rom. (Any particular brand/type)I keep hearing about (all code?)dvd roms.

Is my graphics card adequate for the job? If not what is recommended?

The projector I will be using is a nec lt150z.

Main purpose of htpc is movies. Primarily dvd's but not exclusevly.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I would visit AVSForum if you haven't already.
HTPC FAQ
Your hardware all looks fine, and a good sound card would be an SB Audigy or Live!.
