Hello guys,

Reqd some help on my speakers..here goes:

1. I think my centre speaker is not shielded enough, and i am experiencing some discoloration on my TV set. How far above can the centre speaker be from the TV to enjoy the effect? My L & R mains are kefpt around 1.5 to 2 feet away from the TV. Is it ok?

2. Is there any way by which i can shield my speaker completely?

3. Is it absolutely necessary for the main L & R speakers and the centre speaker to be in one line to enjoy the effect?

Thnx a lot
Avinash ;)

If your tv is getting dicoloration your speakers aren't shielded or something is wrong with the shielding.

You can place your center as high as you need to get rid of interference with you tv. If need, then tilt the center downward toward your listening position to compensate for the increased distance from the tv. If this solution works for you, there will be no need to add shielding to the center.
For good stereo imaging, try to get least six feet between the left and right speakers.
Hope this helps.
