need help on choosing system

    Hello everyone. I am looking for a home theater /audio system of good quality but I am quite ignorant on which ones deliver best sound and image. any help will be greatli appreciated.

    For receivers, I would recommend Denon and Onkyo.

    Along with the two already mentioned, Harman Kardon and Yamaha seem pretty well liked around here. You should list a budget though. People here like to know how much money you are looking to spend. Gene

    A budget would really help us here. You could be looking for a $200 HTiB, or a $200K professionally designed screening room. As such the previous recommendations might be totally useless until we can get the faintest idea of what it is you're after.

    I Think 1.500 to 2.000 that is because I have been recomended the bose but I am not sore that is the best choice

    Well the bose is not the best choice. I'd start with a solid receiver, such as denon, HK, marantz, etc, and speakers such as paradigm, and an SVS subwoofer.

    Then I would recommend a $500-700 receiver from Denon and the rest for speakers, etc.
