Need help in choosing a Android Player (1 Viewer)

Hi,



I am a tech noob. And I was assigned by my dad to settle the task of getting him an Android box.

I come across with Open Hour Gecko and I perceive that the Hisilicon 3798M built in it is a good chipset? And later I found out HiMedia Q5 which appear to be close to similar with the Open hour gecko. Did anyone own one of this device? May I know the pros and cons of them?
