My brother is bugging me about a great show he remembers... Unfortunately, he cannot remember the name of the show, the name of the stars or even the names of the characters.

It starred a blonde midget [sorry if that term is offensive!] with a British accent who was an inventor. He would invent devices of all sorts that would help him achieve things that he might not otherwise be able to do and solved mysteries.

It sounds to me like a variant of MacGyver, but he's adamant it was not MacGyver (he's a big fan), so MacGyver is out.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Please advise. Thanks! [IMG]

Sounds like The Wizard. I never saw the show and don't know if it was any good, but I remember the trailers for it when it debuted.

Edit: David beat me to it.

Dave and Donald... Thanks ever so much for your help! My brother's been wracking his brains, and when he saw the IMDB entry he yelled, "YES! That's it!"

Now he has one less thing to bug me about.[IMG]

One would have thought that the "blonde midget" part pretty much ruled out MacGuyver from the beginning. [IMG] Of course, David Rappaport isn't blonde either, as far as I remember, but he's a lot closer to a blonde than the 6-foot something Richard Dean Anderson is to a midget or little person or what-have-you.

    Regards,

    Joe
