I once tuned in to the middle of what seemed like a NEW twilight zone show. Judging by the cast, I think it was made in the last 10 years.
What I saw was an ongoing trial where science/technology were on trial sometime in the future. It had been banned.
Someone had done something with science and was on trial for it.
The trial took place before a panel of judges.
What I remember most was that the cast was simply loaded with Hollywood stars! There had to be at least 6 or 7 big-name stars.
I clearly remember an older Charlton Heston as one of the judges. 'Older', meaning, he looked in his 60s.
I was called away and never got to see any info about this show. I'm pretty sure it was a 'new' twilight zone show. The episdode seemed much longer than the old series.
Can anyone help me to figure out what this was and how I can get a copy?
Thanks
Howard

According to imdb, Heston appeard on an episode of "The Outer Limits" called "Final Appeal" Heston played Chief Justice Haden Wainwright and it originally aired on September 3, 2000.

I do not believe that it has been released on dvd.

I really wish someone would release the new Outer Limits show UNCUT and in Season sets. Instead of Best Of's.

Todd, check www.amazon.ca because season sets of Seasons 1-2 are available now with Season 3 on the way soon. These are not sold in the US, but you can easily import them.

Some reviews state that though the sets are labeled as complete season sets, there are missing shows. Not sure what to make of that.

There are only 19 episodes on the set. Season 1 and 2 had 44 episodes combined. The episode the op is looking for is not on the set.

I also heard the Canadian releases are the cut versions shown in syndication. Not the Showtime version.
