I returned my Klipsch KSW-12 sub a couple of days ago and have decided to go for a nicer sub, I really was not impressed with the Klipsch. After talking with some people that I respect (TonyBradley and another member Darrin) I've decided to go with SVS. My problem is that I just don't know which one to get. I am not sure if the PC12-Plus would be worth the extra money over the PC12-NSB. Like most people I would rather not spend more money than I need to however I really don't want to be dissapointed.

My room is approximately 14 x 28 but one side is pretty much open going into the kitchen (shown in the picture by openings. The black and grey stripes are stairs, the blue is a fish tank, orange is speakers, green is couch, thick black line are the back doors.

So which sub would be recommended for my application?[/

i just got the Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus Subwoofer installed this weekend and let me say, for $494 I can't imagine a better bang for my buck! they currently are having an additional 10% off with free shipping for any orders over $500.

It it incredible! I just installed it with 7 Elan THP801C in ceiling speakers. never thought I would ever have the theater experience in my own home, but these things kick a$$!

I just got the Outlaw Audion LFM-1 Plus. All I can say, WOW! I can't imagine anything sounding or feeling much better than this sub! What makes it even better is the fact that it was only $494! Originally it runs $549, but through the end of today, Outlaw is giving free shipping and an additional 10% off for orders over $500.:emoji_thumbsup:

This thing sounds great on both movies and music. I watched Iron Man again after setting up my new system and it was like watching a different movie! The scene where tony Stark is in the Humvee and the explosions and gunfire start was incredible. Just like the theaters!

My new setuup consists of:
Integra DTR-7.8 Receiver
7 Elan THP801C In Ceiling Speakers
1 Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus Subwoofer
LG BD-300 Blueray DVD Player

Bruce, I suggest you call or email SVS. They will help you decide. Don't worry, they will not oversell you. Personally, I would get the plus. But then I have an Ultra/2 in a room smaller than yours

LeRoy, What other subs have you compared the Outlaw to? Have you ever heard SVS? I don't doubt that the Outlaw sounds good, but I bet it wouldn't come close to the PC12.

Thanks, I talked to them a little while ago and they suggested the PC12-Plus so I went ahead and ordered the b-stock they had. I was suprised, I didn't feel like they were trying to oversell me at all, they seemed very genuine with their answers to my questions.

I am really looking forward to hearing the new sub, it has to be better than the Klipsch I bought two weeks ago. I wasn't impressed with it in the least for my room and set up.

Hi David,

I had listened to some of the Kliptsch, Velodyne, and Energy subs before I decided on the Outlaw sub. I haven't had the chance to hear any SVS subs though.

I'm guessing that the SVS PC12-NSD sounds awesome! It looks like the specs are about the same, slightly lower response frequency for the SVS. I would bet that these were 2 very comparable subs, especially having the same price!

I would consider the Outlaw a better buy than the SVS PC12 Plus even though it has slighly lower response and more powerful amp as well because of the price difference.

The Outlaw Audio LFM-1 Plus seems to produce all the bone jarring, house shaking explosions and/or low frequency rumbles to make my movie watching experience all I had oped for!

I did just replace the door that leads to my carport because of the sub. It made the window in it rattle so bad I was afraid it was going to shatter. Luckily I replaced the rest of the windows and five of the six 8' sliding back doors last week.

To say that I am satisfied with the sub would be a huge understatement. This thing is simply amazing, I have never heard or felt lows like this in a house. On top of that SVS's customer service is second to none. I had a few issues setting up my receiver to make the sub sound it's best, the people at SVS were very patient with me. They told me that one way or another they would make me happy. They succeeded 100%.

I would have no problems recommending this sub to anyone!
