Need help choosing (1 Viewer)

Hello! I'm looking for my first surround sound system. I really don't want to spend over 800.00 What do you think about the Cambridge SoundWorks MovieWorks II 5.1 or MovieWorks 408? I'm not looking for the best. Just something nice that will let me experience 5.1 dolby digital sound from dvd's. I don't want speakers so listen to cd's. Just dvd's. Any comments?

Depends on where you want to shop. Personally, I would go visit ebay.

Speakers: Klipsch The quintets are less than $100. KLF for less than $200 and so on. I am using the reference line and I have friends with other Klipsch. They sound phenominal.

Receiver: Denon 3600 $300

DVD: less than $200.

E-bay can be great. Just make sure you do your research, etc.
