Need help buying an HDTV. (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,
I've been looking at getting an HDTV for a while and I can finally afford one. I'm looking at spending from 1500-2500 on one. The main model I'm considering is the Toshiba 40H80 but I have also looked into the Pioneer SD-532HD5. I thought the picture quality on both was superb,but the Toshiba's price likes my wallet more. I'm mainly going to be using it for progressive DVD and not so much for T.V viewing. Have any of you had experience with either of these models? Any help would be appreciated.

Ash,
You're posting your question in the wrong place...try TV and projector area....you'll get more help there.
There is a new Panasonic available at 2k, as well as the 46" Mits.
Try the other forum for help and good luck
