My speakers are all Missions - but I have a JBL sub. Any need to switch to a Mission sub? What are they like?

No need. If you like your sub, you're good to go. If you want to upgrade, I'm sure that SVS and Hsu (among others) will outperform a Mission sub at the same price points.
