First of all, thanks! I am new to this HT stuff, bare with me..

I am shopping for a DVD player for my Optoma H31 projector (DLP, 480p native, DVI-I with HDCP or component video input or S-Video)

Should I be using a 480p player with this? or something better and let it covert it down?
Ive noticed the Denon 2900 is highly recommended, would that be a good choice for me?

DVI vs component video inputs.. What should I be using?
I have $500 to spend on a DVD player... My HT setup is for DVD/movies only, btw. No games, no TV.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

That is a very good player for the price, you will definitely want to use it connected by DVI.
