I'm running a Radeon 7500 on my HTPC feeding to a Denon 5800 and a Sanyo XP21N projector. I want to feed my old VHS player into a capture card (maybe improve the quality?) and run it through dScaler back out to DV or my projector. I was about to buy the WinTV PVR but I don't see that it has composite inputs, only S-video. Do any cards offer composite? Isn't this something that most people would want? What should I buy?

Search avsforum.com under the HTPC section....lots of dscaler users hang out there and a quick search will yield you a plethora of capture card options...

Yes, there are many composite capture cards out there...the wintv line being very popular and inexpensive...

    Cheers,
