Need assistance with receiver/vcr output. (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a kenwood VR 4080 receiver, mitsubishi vcr and satellite feed. Im trying to tape a program that is on satellite. I am able to get a signal to the vcr, but the audio is extremely low... I have to max the volume on the reciever to barely hear the audio.

Any suggestions on fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

How do you have the sat connected,compostie or s-vid. Is it connected directly to the receiver?

If you are using S-vid out on the sat then you would have to use s-vid throught the system. i.e you cant input svid on the receiver and use composite out to the vcr.

Thanks, I figured out what the problem was. I had to change the recording mode so that it would convert the digital to analog.
