I'm considering spending about $3,500 on speakers for my home theater. Salespeople have recommended Snell Qbx and Triad Bronze. Any thoughts?? There is too much information out there, and I'm looking for some objective advice. Thanks.

Is the $3,500 on a 5.1 setup or just 5 speakers and buying a seperate sub?
I recently listened to the Dali Suite series and they are a great speaker(Looks and sound) It was the 2.8 series which runs a little over the 2 grand mark.
Others you may want to consider are the Axiom 80's and Rocket 750 package.
You can always check to see if someone is willing to demo a setup for you.
What other speakers do some of your local Hi Fi shops carry?

    As has been said before:
"Speaker choice is subjective and personal. What sounds good to some, may not be someone else's preference."
Take a selection of your favorite CD's and DVD's and go out and listen to as amny speakers as you can. Only you can decide what you like.
