My father is in the market for a new TV, reciever and speakers. He only has room (and budget) for a 32" CRT TV.
What are some good 32" widescreen TVs? Budget is about £2000 for the whole upgrade but he's concerned about a good TV screen, so we're thinking of spending about £1200 on the TV and spreading the rest over the speakers and receiver.
I personally have a Sony KV32FX65 which I'm about 90% pleased with, but I've been reading some bad reviews on the newer Sonys recently (paricularly the KV32FQ75).
Any other good makes/models to think about?
We've been reading good things about the Toshiba 32ZD26P.
He's also thinking about getting an integrated Digital TV, but I'm not so sure. The digital TV setup is still quite volatile in the UK, and most people (including me) are using satelite or cable digital set top boxes rather than integrated digital TVs.
    Any thoughts?
    Cheers.
    Darren.
