I'm looking to pick up a scanner in the range of $150-400 or so that has capabilities to scan 35 mm slides.

    Does anyone have any suggestions??

I've been trying to find a good review site, but have thus far been unsuccessful. Can anyone recommend a site such as this one, except geared towards computing/photography/similar??

I like to use NeoSeeker to gather several reviews about a product I'm looking into.
Here is NeoSeeker's Digital Imaging / Scanners area.

When looking at the resolution, make sure you are reading the OPTICAL resolution. Sometimes the resolution will be mentioned but it is not the optical they are referring to. The actual resolution could be skewed by other software.
