I currently have a Panasonic-RP62 hooked up to a Panny 47" and even though it says it supports dvd-r, I can't get any to work. So I've been using my PS2 to play them and I realized today that it just wasn't going to cut it.

Is there a player I could get in the $100-$200 range that will give me a great picture and play almost any dvd-r? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I actually just tried out the N50BK model, but I'm gonna have to take it back tomorrow. In some DVDs where there's a panning shot it will stutter. I've tried changing the video mode, but it's pretty inconsistent.

I'll just spend the extra money and go with the Sony DVP-NS725P. I read up on it and it's supposed to have great dvd-r support.
