I'm looking to get a new TV and I'm pretty unfamiliar with all of the TV options that are available.

I've been looking at the Sony 27FS200 and comparable models, but am not sure if that would best fit my usage. The TV will be used in a bedroom for the next 6-9 months most to watch hockey games. Then the TV will be used in a living room to watch movies 1-2 times a week and regular hockey games and regular cable TV.

I'm not looking to spend much more than $500 so I think 27" is about as big as I can go. Is Wega the right choice for me or should I just get a standard 4:3 tubed TV?

    Thanks,

    Brad

Well it all depends on what you are looking for. the Wega's ahve nice features and most agree they are excellent picture quality. that being said it is still a standard 4:3 tube tv. if that is what you are considering then it seems like a good choice, though you might want to check out the comparable Toshiba and panasonic models.
