My Radio Shack trusty SPL meter died and just got some new subs so want to recalibrate everything.
Not sure which SPL meter to get. Do they all do C weighting for the SUB?

I hope so, not an expert here but I have real good instructions that I have used on my Radio Shack meter and been very happy but those units are gone so looking for something to replace it. I used a software app on my phone for now but it is a bit clumsy to use I think and not really sure if its even that accurate. I see tons of SPL Meters out there but my only use for it is for Home Theater speakers and subs. Trying to see best match

I still have my old Radio Shack SPL meter, too. There are some smart phone apps that do this that may be worth a try. Google SPL meters (pick Android or iPhone, depending on your device).

I still have my original Radio Shack meter from 1998 so I haven’t kept up. Perhaps @John Dirk or @JohnRice might have an idea.
I have a Galaxy CM-140. I don't recall if the other John has that or not. I actually tend to do a fuller analysis using a Umik-1 and REW. Though that can be a lot more involved. You can just do a sweep to see the full range instead of just an average.

BTW, I don’t know if the seller I linked is still active. They have old updates on the products.

I have the same Radio Shack SPL meter as you and it's going strong after all of these years. I'm really sorry to hear yours gave up the ghost.

Like @JohnRice , I use REW and my UMIK1 for everything but quick and dirty level matching.
