Well I have reason to believe that my Outlaw 1050 is causing my hissing problem with my setup. Is there any recievers or preamps out there under $1100?

You should check with Outlaw first. If you really need a new receiver, the Denon 2807 is a fine choice.

That doesn't sound right with the Outlaw, definitely check with the guys over there to see what the culpret is in the setup.
