Hi, I am looking for a new reciever and need some suggestions,I also need to know where I can buy it online and at the best price with shipping.thanks

I just picked up Technics SA DX1050, top of the line Technics A/V receiver for $239 minus $50 rebate plus shipping (Shoppersadvantage.com). Although I am not through with testing, it seems to be solid, heavy-duty, good performance piece of equipment.

Forgot to mention, SA DX1050 is the Consumer Report's Best Buy, but I came to this conclusion independently.

I think you can get the Kenwood VR-507 for around $250 online, best bang for the buck! I like it better than the Onkyo 494.
