I am running Windows XP pro and I have two user accounts. I have set myself up as the administrator and there is a second account for my girlfriend.
How do I make it so that when she deletes a desktop shortcut on her desktop it doesn't effect mine? I am simplifying her desktop but I want to keep mine like it is.
I am not really knowledgeable in this area so if you have advice, please "dumb it down" for me. [IMG]
    Thanks in advance!!!!!

Most of the icons on the desktop are probably in the "All Users" folder in C:Documents and Settings.

Move those that you want on her desktop into the "Desktop" folder under the "Girlfriend" directory, and those that you want on your desktop into your "Desktop" folder.

That should work. There must be an easier way, but I can't figure it out.
