I've recently come into possession of two powered subwoofers (Cambridge Soundworks Basscube 10). At this moment I only have one of them connected to my receiver (Onkyo SR-605) via the single Subwoofer out RCA jack; the rest of my 5 speakers are connected normally with wire. I'm going to connect both subs, but I'm a relative newbie and am not crystal on precisely how to do that using my specific equipment.
The way I understand it is I'm going to toss the RCA cable and instead connect the two amps the following way using speaker wire --
Sub #1: Receiver's front left speaker output to subwoofer's left speaker input, then subwoofer's left speaker output to front left speaker;
Sub #2: Receiver's front right speaker output to subwoofer's right speaker input, then subwoofer's right speaker output to front right speaker.

Here are pictures of the back of my receiver and subwoofer to help clarify things:

Does this sound correct? Are there any settings on my receiver I should be looking to change?

Skip all that. Just get an RCA splitter, which has one RCA input and two outputs. Run them to both subs. DO NOT use the speaker wire approach.

Thanks for your help. I'm going with the coaxial/subwoofer/RCA cable + Y adapter. (God bless Ebay!)
