When is the fifth season going to be announced? I've been addicted to this series ever since I purchased the first four seasons of the series.

And I reviewed last year's set in October (I think), so I'm guessing this year's release will follow a similar pattern (even if there are fewer episodes in it).

While Amazon only has the title listed with no release date, they do have a Blu Ray release listed for NCIS Season 5. Does this sound like good news?

Amazon's Blu Ray listing may just be a placeholder so people can sign up for notification of an eventual release rather than a listing of an actual upcoming product. If a Blu Ray release is coming, it would probably mean that Paramount thinks NCIS is selling well enough on DVD to give it a shot on Blu Ray. And if it's selling well on DVD, they aren't going to stop DVD releases in favor of a Blu Ray-only release.

At least we'll have 19 episodes on the Season 5 set. Only a few short from a full season instead of a half season. This is great news. But, tonight's episode really sucked ...

Definitely awesome now that we a release date for late August, the 26th, for this release. Just in time for the premiere of Season 6.

This weeks episode was one of the best in the series as a whole. Seeing the spotlight on Palmer and how he handled being the target ... it also showed a deeper connection between Gibbs and how he treats the other members that are involved with his team. Abby, McGee, David, Palmer, Ducky ... I have to admit that this is one of the better series on television right now, besides Bones, that I enjoy watching week from week.
