Anyone else have (or rented) this game? I just recieved it in the mail from the TRU/Amazon "Buy two, get one free" offer and don't know what to do with it. I've only read one review of it so far, on IGN, and they gave it a seven-something out of a ten, which wasn't very promising.
Haven't opened it up yet, so I was thinking about taking it back to TRU and trading it for probably Ace Combat 4, which got a nine-something on IGN.
Any thoughts?
Thanks. . .

well i haven't played it yet.. but a gamer friend of mine just bought it the other day from ebx, and he says its not all that good. he already took it back. so just going from his standpoint, i've kinda lost interest in it. so all i can do is pass what i heard to you. hope that helps.

I've never been a big fan of the NBA Live series. I liked the very first one on PSX, but that's about it. As for NBA Live 2002, I have not played it yet, but I was very disappointed in 2001. Plus, NBA 2K2 will be released on the PS2, possibly as early as December. I had 2K and 2K1 on Dreamcast, the latter was the best b-ball game I'd played in a long long time.

NBA2K2 for the PS2 will be the bomb. I played the HELL out of NBA 2K1 on my dreamcast.

I don't even bother with the NBA Live series anymore. The NBA 2K series is a much better basketball game.
