    hey everyone. what does the "MJ" signature mark on the challengers logo mean? Ive been trying to figure ut out for a week now!

    makes sense.. but it doesnt look like a g. does it? i dont know

    If you mean the STS-107 Columbia patch the symbol is the greek letter "mu" followed by a G which does stand for "micro gravity".

    Different shuttle name, Dave, but unfortunately the same fate.

    Yeah it's a "mu" and a lowercase cursive g.

    The mission patch for the fatal Challenger flight included a little apple which was symbolic for the teacher on board.
