Forgive me if this description isn't helpful ... here is what I do remember.

I think the location is in England and a brother and a sister live in the big manor and befriend an American who hangs with them. The American develops feelings for the sister, but the siblings are incestuous.

What movie is this?

Weird. Another movie came to mind, and certainly fits the description, with the possible exception that the lead is not American (he may very well have been, it's been some years). I am refraining naming it because the incest subplot is a big reveal. PM if curious.
